SPRING HILL - A 12-year-old boy discovered two dead bodies Saturday morning, apparent victims of an All Terrain Vehicle accident in a wooded area west of Brooksville.

An orange and black 2005 Polaris Predator ATV was found near the two young men, whose names have not been released. The bodies were found on a trail at the end of Papercraft Avenue. The road dead-ends into the trail.

Neighbors said the trail where the bodies were found has a dangerous dropoff that is especially hazardous at night. One person who lives nearby reported hearing the sound of an engine between 9 p.m. and midnight.

The accident was being investigated by the Florida Highway Patrol.
