ST. PETERSBURG - Mohammad Chehab, a Tampa resident who is a member of the Arab American Relations Forum, will speak at a panel discussion 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Uhuru Solidarity Center, 541 16th St. N.

The public is invited. Joining Chehab on the panel, which will lead a discussion about conflicts in the Middle East and Africa, are Uhuru organizer Nyabinga Dzimbahwe and Penny Hess, chairwoman of the African People's Solidarity Committee.

Chehab is an outspoken advocate for Palestinian rights. He was a resident of Beirut in 1982 and helped transport families fleeing violence at refugee camps.

Dzimbahwe is the host of Africa Live on Sundays at 10 a.m. on UhuruRadio.com. He will discuss efforts to unify African people internationally, dissolve colonially-imposed nation-state borders in Africa and redirect the gross product of Africa into African hands.
