Boy, 14, tells court of molestation scene

Jennifer Bloye Rutherford is accused of performing sex acts during a "game" with two adults and two teens.

DADE CITY - The easygoing teenager took the stand Wednesday and described a sickening scene: two adults, two teens, in bed together naked playing a game of sexual truth or dare.

The incident, involving a man and a 13-year-old girl, and his wife and a 14-year-old boy, occurred in the summer of 2003 at a home in Zephyrhills, authorities say.

The man, 37-year-old Timothy Gerald Bloye, pleaded guilty earlier this year to lewd and lascivious molestation against the girl. He is serving a prison sentence just shy of seven years.

Jennifer Bloye Rutherford, who has since divorced Bloye and remarried, is standing trial this week. If convicted, the 35-year-old will face up to 15 years in prison.

The trial began Wednesday with her alleged victim describing how the four took off their clothes and got into bed together. The teen is not being identified because of his age and the nature of the charges.

He said Bloye and the girl were kissing; Rutherford put her leg over the boy's waist. When he told her he was uncomfortable, she removed it, he said.

Then Bloye suggested the game. Rutherford was dared to perform oral sex on the boy for five seconds. She did.

The boy's dare: to touch Rutherford sexually. He did.

"She asked me, 'That wasn't so bad?' " the teen testified. "I said it didn't feel right still."

The game continued a little longer between the two adults and the girl.

"I was kind of excluded at that point," he said. Eventually he and Rutherford left the room and watched TV.

Defense attorney William Pura asked the teen whether Bloye had been drinking, what his behavior was like. The teen said Bloye was grumpy after a long workday and had a beer or two.

Pura is making the case that Rutherford, a thin woman with long, straight brown hair, was the victim of her husband, that she was not an instigator but merely went along with his game.

Pura said Rutherford plans to testify.

"She wants to let the jury know what was going on in her mind," Pura said.

The jury trial is scheduled to continue today in Circuit Judge Linda Babb's courtroom.
