By TIMES STAFF WRITER
Published August 31, 2006

After much initial hoopla and questions of whether the exhibit might be shut down, "Bodies" has remained on view at Tampa's Museum of Science and Industry for more than a year.

The display of 20 fully preserved and posed specimens, plus 260 organs and body parts, has drawn more than 450,000 people to MOSI. After being extended twice, the exhibit closes Monday.

MOSI is at 4801 E Fowler Ave., Tampa. (813) 987-6100 or www.mosi.org. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, with extended hours for the "Bodies" exhibit only from 5 to 9 p.m. through Sunday. Admission ranges from $19.95 to $29.95.
