JOSH JULMISTE, END

Need HIS experience

Just a redshirt sophomore with only eight career tackles and one sack, Julmiste is the most experienced defensive end on the roster. But now he'll miss at least two games because of an undisclosed violation of team rules.

COULD BE MORE

Julmiste is the younger brother of senior Pat Julmiste, who has started 23 games at quarterback. There could be another Julmiste on the way - their brother, Jean, is Miramar's quarterback, the smallest of the three at 6-1, 170. He's being recruited by USF.

THAT'S MORE LIKE IT

Julmiste signed with USF as a 220-pound tight end but moved to defense his first month on campus. He has put on 50 pounds since and said he's more comfortable on the defensive side of the ball. "I feel at home on defense," he said. "Tight end was good, but I don't like to block people. I like to hit people."

SETTING GOALS

Julmiste's recipe for a breakout season? "Just bring lots and lots of heat, every down, every play, just bring heat," he said. "That's my whole plan."
