3 GAMES TO WATCH

MONDAY VS. FLORIDA STATE

The 'Canes are still seeking their first ACC title. The 'Noles are the defending champs.

SEPT. 16 AT LOUISVILLE

The fireworks fly against the Cardinals. A 3-0 start could give Miami the confidence to make a run at the national crown.

NOV. 4 VS. VIRGINIA TECH

The Hokies have had the Hurricanes' number. Miami needs to re-establish who's boss.

3 STATS TO WATCH

TITLE DRIVE

The 'Canes have zero ACC titles, and their faithful are getting restless.

Keep Wright Upright

Miami allowed a league-high 36 sacks last season. Only center Anthony Wollschlager returns on along the offensive line that must protect quarterback Kyle Wright.

POINTS ALLOWED

Miami gave up only 19 touchdowns on defense, second only to Alabama (15). With six starters back, the 'Canes could have another stifling defense.
