ACCOUNTING

TROY KIMBROUGH has been promoted to shareholder at Gregory Sharer & Stuart (GSS), St. Petersburg. Kimbrough was a tax manager.

KATHLEEN LINDEMANN has been named a litigation support accountant at Lewis, Birch & Ricardo LLC's Tampa and Clearwater offices. Lindemann was a sole practitioner in Clearwater.

Roberts Communications & Marketing Inc., Tampa, announces that KIM DOANE, ERIN GRAY, GREGG MCGOUgH and CHRISTINE O'CONNOR have been named principals. Doane is controller; Gray and O'Connor are account executives; and McGough has been promoted to vice president of creative services after serving as creative director.

VAIKE O'GRADY has been promoted to vice president of marketing at Newland Communities Southeast region, Tampa. O'Grady will oversee regional marketing at Covington Park, FishHawk Ranch and MiraBay, all in southern Hillsborough County. O'Grady was regional marketing director for the Tampa Bay area.

KIMBERLEE B. DEBOSIER has been named a Fellow Member by the Florida Engineering Society. DeBosier is president of Bayside Engineering Inc., Tampa.

JAMES M. HOSLER has been named economic redevelopment and demographics manager at the TBE Group, Clearwater. Hosler was team leader for research and economic development for the Hillsborough County City-County Planning Commission, Tampa.

GARY MONDAY has been promoted to vice president at Ash Engineering, Tampa. Monday was utility division manager.

FINANCIAL

JEFFREY BEVERLY has been named vice president and wealth strategist at Northern Trust Personal Financial Services, St. Petersburg. Beverly was vice president of business development for the private client group at Fisher Investments, Columbus, Ohio.

FITNESS

TIM MERRICK has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer at Lifestyle Family Fitness, St. Petersburg. Merrick was chief financial officer and secretary of Coast Dental, and was chief financial officer for its parent company, Intelident Solutions, Tampa.

INSURANCE

ADAM LOPATIN has been promoted to senior vice president at Acordia, Clearwater. Lopatin was vice president.

CYNTHIA QUINN has been named an account executive for small group commercial sales in Central Florida at Humana Inc., Tampa. Quinn was a commercial sales account executive at United Healthcare, Tampa.

LEGAL

ROBERT A. SORIANO and ERIC ADAMS have been named partners at Shutts & Bowen, Tampa. Soriano concentrates in the area of bankruptcy law; and Adams concentrates in the areas of real estate and eminent domain litigation. Soriano and Adams were shareholders at the law firm of Carlton Fields, Tampa.

MANUFACTURING

WILL HOOVER has been named director of quality assurance at McNichols Co., Tampa. Hoover was business center manager for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in Statesville, N.C.

ORGANIZATIONS

SHARON JACKSON and ALIZZA PUNZALAN-HALL have been elected to serve on the YWCA USA National Coordinating Board (NCB). Jackson is vice president of operations at the YWCA of Tampa Bay board of directors, St. Petersburg; and Punzalan-Hall is director of community and media relations at Eckerd College, St. Petersburg. She will serve as vice chairwoman of the YWCA USA National Coordinating Board.

TECHNOLOGY

ALVIN MIDDLETON has been named controller at iDatix Corp., Clearwater. Middleton was a financial analyst at QMS, Mobile, Ala.
