LOCATION: 2801 N Rocky Point Drive DEVELOPER: Brothers Property Corp. of Miami DESCRIPTION: Condominium conversion of Bay Club Apartments. Five buildings with 138 units built in 1996 and renovated this year. Units have one bedroom and one bathroom or two bedrooms and two baths. PRICE: From $165,000 for one-bedroom units and $209,000 for two-bedroom units. AMENITIES: Gated community with remote-controlled access, bay views from some units and pool area, clubhouse, fitness center with sauna, outdoor grill area, and on-site storage. Units have oversized windows, recessed lighting, built-in bookcase, ceiling fans, garden tubs, washer and dryer, security system, and wiring for Internet access. WHAT THEY'RE SAYING: The location offers resort-style living with easy access to Tampa and Clearwater, said Anthony Everett, vice president of the Toni Everett Co. Many developers have held to last year's prices, but "this developer knows it's a new market" and has adjusted prices accordingly, he said. TIMELINE: Renovations began in January and have been completed. About 80 percent of the units have been sold.
