FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - Alabama's Carlton Forrester, Texas' Trip Kuehne, and Georgia's Ryan Hybl finished in a three-way tie for medalist honors (4-under 139) Monday after two rounds of stroke play at the U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship at Forest Highlands Golf Club. Then they joined defending champ Kevin Marsh of Nevada in winning their match-play pairings later in the day. Dunedin's Ken Palladino shot 159 and missed the stroke-play cut (5-over 148). Play continues today with the second and third rounds of match play. The championship runs through Thursday. LPGA move: The SemGroup Championship will be held May 4-6 at Cedar Ridge Country Club in suburban Tulsa instead of in September as it has been the past five years. The move will place the tournament between the LPGA's first two majors, the Kraft Nabisco Championship and the McDonald's Championship.
