The Wild DIRECTOR: Steve "Spaz" Williams CAST: Voices of Kiefer Sutherland, James Belushi, Greg Cipes, Eddie Izzard, Janeane Garofalo, William Shatner SYNOPSIS: Essentially it's Madagascar 2. Sutherland voices the zoo lion searching for his runaway cub in the jungle. WHAT WE SAID: The Times gave the movie a C-. MPAA RATING: G RUNNING TIME: 81 min. HellBent DIRECTOR: Paul Etheredge-Ouzts CAST: Dylan Fergus, Bryan Kirkwood, Hank Harris, Andrew Levitas, Matt Phillips, Wren T. Brown SYNOPSIS: A slasher movie with a twist: All the maniac's oversexed victims are gay males. WHAT WE SAID: The Times gave the movie a C. MPAA RATING: R; strong horror violence and gore, sexual content, language and drug use RUNNING TIME: 85 min. Lucky Number Slevin DIRECTOR: Paul McGuigan CAST: Josh Hartnett, Bruce Willis, Ben Kingsley, Morgan Freeman, Lucy Liu, Stanley Tucci SYNOPSIS: Mistaken identities lead a man (Hartnett) into danger with mobsters (Freeman, Kingsley) and a hit man (Willis). WHAT WE SAID: The Times gave the movie a C. MPAA RATING: R; strong profanity, violence RUNNING TIME: 109 min. The Great New Wonderful DIRECTOR: Danny Leiner CAST: Maggie Gyllenhaal, Edie Falco, Tony Shalhoub, Jim Gaffigan, Olympia Dukakis, Judy Greer, Thomas McCarthy, Will Arnett, Naseeruddin Shah, Sharat Saxena, Stephen Colbert SYNOPSIS: Overlapping stories reveal the lingering effects of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on average New Yorkers. WHAT WE SAID: The Times did not review this film. MPAA RATING: R; language and some sexuality RUNNING TIME: 87 min.
