Ridgewood 41, River Ridge 6

NEW PORT RICHEY - Ridgewood running back Byronell Arline literally ran away with the Rams' win at River Ridge on Friday. The junior carried the bulk of Ridgewood's (3-1) offense, rushing for 191 yards and four touchdowns on 22 carries. The Royal Knights (0-4) managed just 84 yards of offense and a lone touchdown pass from quarterback Blake Spinks to Markel Bell. Arline scored on runs of 5, 7 and 2 yards, as well as an 84-yard scamper on the first play of the second half. Though the Rams fumbled five times (recovering them all), coach Chris Taylor was impressed with Arline's performance, despite the fact that he had to recover his own fumble. "I think he showed his speed here quite a bit," Taylor said. "He's a great running back, and if you go to a player as much as we do, you hope he produces like (Arline) did."
