ZEPHYRHILLS - Entering the season's fourth week, no one would have expected Zephyrhills to be Pasco County's only unbeaten team. But following its decisive win over Hernando, no one should be surprised. The Bulldogs combined opportunistic defense with good field position and just enough offensive firepower en route to an easy win. "We took a big step tonight," said Zephyrhills coach Tom Fisher. "But we're still not where we want to be. We've got a lot of games left." The Bulldogs (4-0) wasted no time getting on the board as Sederrik Cunningham threw a fade to receiver Mychael Floyd for a 24-yard score. On Hernando's (1-2) next possession, Floyd forced a Brandon Wright fumble at the 19 that Chris Henry recovered. Floyd had also picked off a pass in the end zone. Robichaud added scoring runs of 9 and 2 yards, respectively, as the Bulldogs built a 22-3 halftime lead.
