TAMPA - Fredrick Redmon, 49, had been out of jail less than four hours Wednesday, when he got in more trouble, deputies said. By Thursday afternoon, he was again behind bars.

After Redmon was released from the Hillsborough County jail Wednesday afternoon, he went to his ex-girlfriend's Apollo Beach home.

There, deputies said, he beat up 48-year-old Ilona Suzanne "Lonnie" Roberts' new boyfriend, Gregory Quinn, 52.

Redmon held a knife to Quinn's throat, forced Roberts into her 1990 Oldsmobile and drove off with her, deputies said.

Later, Roberts and Redmon returned to the Apollo Beach home. Roberts told deputies she had left voluntarily with Redmon.

Deputies arrested Redmon on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, battery and robbery, according to an arrest report. He was again booked into the jail, where bail was set at $10,000.

Redmon had previously been jailed on multiple drug charges.
