Stressed? Maybe a keyboard can help

CARROLLWOOD - Get ready for the Clavinova Connection at the Carrollwood Cultural Center - and try saying that five times fast.

Playing the Clavinova, a digital piano, to minimize stress is the theme for the third event in the center's concert cycle this Sunday.

In addition to an interactive presentation about the connection between music and relaxation, Craig Knudsen, co-creator of the recreational musicmaking program the Clavinova Connection, will perform jazz, contemporary pieces and light classics on the Clavinova.

Tampa's Hispanic heritage also will be celebrated that day at the same place. The Hispanic-American Inter-Culturale Workshop will present an exhibit of a private collection by Damaris Soto-Frassica titled "Twenty Years of Tampa Hispanic Heritage Posters."

All attendees will receive a print of the contest-winning 2006 poster at the free event.

The art exhibit opens at 2 p.m., and the recital starts at 3 p.m. at the Carrollwood Cultural Center annex, 13345 Casey Road.
