CLEARWATER - Even Father Time loves '80s music. How else to explain the pure resounding goodness of Saturday's "We Are the '80s" remember-when-athon at Ruth Eckerd Hall? In front of almost 2,000 screaming 30-somethings, Me Decade icons Scandal, Loverboy, Eddie Money and Rick Springfield all delivered hits that were just as infectious today as they were way back when. Particularly impressive was Scandal's Patty Smyth, who performed remarkably robust renditions of sing-along smashes The Warrior and Goodbye to You. To hear interviews (Springfield speaks!), commentary (Springfield is still hot!) and general merriment from the "We Are the '80s" show, listen to the Stuck in the '80s Internet podcast at blogs.tampabay.com/80s.
