Haunting proposals

All the ghouls come out to play beginning this weekend as Lowry Park Zoo and Busch Gardens preview their Halloween fests with discounted admission. Zoo Boo's "Shriek Peek" today through Sunday offers haunted fun, plus nonscary activities for young children. Hours are 7 to 11 p.m. today and Saturday, 7 to 10 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $9.95 for ages 3 and older this weekend, then goes to $12-$14 for the other select nights through Oct. 31. The zoo is at 1101 W Sligh Ave., Tampa. (813) 935-8552, www.lowryparkzoo.com. Classic movie music

The Florida Orchestra opens its pops season with "A Night on the Red Carpet," featuring music from movies including The Godfather, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Papillon. Dance fever
