The other speakers talked about great teachers and life-changing moments on campus. Developer Frank Dagostino told fellow USF alumni Thursday that his years at USF provided him with a different type of inspiration:

Whenever he looked at the ugly bunker-style building that's home to the College of Business, he says he thought "there's got to be a better way."

Dagostino, chief executive of SimDag, which is building the Trump Tower in downtown Tampa, was part of a panel at an alumni association meeting.

USF business dean Robert Forsythe, who was in the audience, offered to put Dagostino on a "blow up the bunker" committee. Among other problems, the building floods in heavy rain, Forsythe said.
