Pinellas sheriff's detectives continued searching Monday for two gunmen who robbed a 7-Eleven convenience store near Largo early Saturday. Officials described one robber as a black male with light complexion, about 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 9 with a thin build. He wore a black, hooded, long-sleeved sweatshirt, a white mask and long blue denim shorts. The second man was also black, with dark complexion, about 5 feet 4 to 5 feet 5. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans. According to deputies, the two men walked into the store at 6270 150th Ave. N about 3:40 a.m. Saturday brandishing guns and ordered the woman behind the counter to open the cash register. They also asked the clerk to open the office and safe, but she couldn't comply with their request. Another clerk was restocking a walk-in freezer, unaware of the robbery. The two men left the store as another customer was coming inside. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call (727) 582-6200 or toll-free 1-800-873-8477.
