Macy, Maria Bello, Adam Brody, Sam Elliott, Rob Lowe SYNOPSIS: Smooth-talking tobacco lobbyist deals with antismoking forces and a nosy reporter. WHAT WE SAID: The St. Petersburg Times gave the movie an A-. MPAA RATING: R; strong profanity, sexuality, mature themes, brief violence RUNNING TIME: 92 min. X-Men: The Last Stand DIRECTOR: Brett Ratner CAST: Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Patrick Stewart, Famke Janssen, Anna Paquin, Kelsey Grammer SYNOPSIS: Evil Magneto rages against a cure for mutants invented by humans in the third film based on Marvel Comics' superheroes. WHAT WE SAID: The Times gave the movie a B+. MPAA RATING: PG-13; action violence, brief profanity, one sensual scene RUNNING TIME: 104 min. The Little Mermaid New release from Disney, first time available on two-disc DVD. DIRECTORS: Ron Clements and John Musker CAST: Voices of Rene Auberjonois, Jodi Benson, Samuel E. Wright, Jason Marin, Buddy Hackett SYNOPSIS: An adaptation of a Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale about a mermaid who longs to be human. WHAT WE SAID: The Times gave the movie four stars, the highest rating available in the previous rating system. MPAA RATING: G; no objectional material. RUNNING TIME: 83 min.
