CLASS 2A, DISTRICT 12

TEAMS: Clearwater, Countryside, Dunedin, East Lake, Gulf, Hudson, Mitchell, Palm Harbor University, Ridgewood, River Ridge, Tarpon Springs.

BOYS TOURNAMENT: Fox Hollow Golf Club, New Port Richey, Monday, 9 a.m.

OUTLOOK: PHU's Zach Sobel, who won the Green Devil Invitational for the second straight season, is the favorite for individual honors. He is playing alongside five seniors, including Tyler Corbitt and Mark Fazzini. Countryside, which tied for fourth at state last year, lost P.J. Kolosvary to graduation. But the Cougars still have juniors Matt Arace and Tyler Wilkins and senior Zach Walters. East Lake returns all-conference players Nick Buccina and Tommy Peterson. Dunedin, which knocked off PHU earlier this season, is led by Preston Knox.

GIRLS TOURNAMENT: Heritage Springs Golf Course, Tuesday, 12:30 p.m.

OUTLOOK: The Hurricanes, who won their first district and region titles last year, will still be strong with the return of Brienna Heinzler and Mary Ko. They helped PHU win the conference title. The Eagles are bolstered by the addition of Whitney Wenglasz, who transferred from Northside Christian.

CLASS 2A, DISTRICT 13

TEAMS: Boca Ciega, Dixie Hollins, Gibbs, Lakewood, Largo, Northeast, Osceola, Pinellas Park, St. Petersburg, Seminole.

BOYS TOURNAMENT: Mangrove Bay Golf Course, St. Petersburg, Monday, 10:30 a.m.

OUTLOOK: Seminole, which won the district over Northeast by a stroke last year, is led by Chad Fleming, Nick Barshel, Mike Adams and Kyle Olson. St. Petersburg's top player is Kyle Menke, who tied for third at the Green Devil Invitational. Largo still has Mike Alwin and Scott Wilson (second at the Green Devil Invitational).

GIRLS TOURNAMENT: Bellview Biltmore Golf Course, Clearwater, Tuesday, 1 p.m.

OUTLOOK: Most schools in this district do not have enough girls to field a full team, so the best battle is for individual honors. The top two are Largo's Evan Jensen and Seminole's Meghan Chapman. Jensen, the state runnerup two seasons ago, won the region title last year with a 66, the lowest score of any girl in her classification. Chapman won an individual district title two seasons ago.

CLASS A, DISTRICT 14

TEAMS: Berkeley Prep, Cambridge, Citrus Park, Jesuit, Newsome, Oldsmar Chr., Robinson, Seffner Chr., Tampa Catholic, Tampa Prep.

BOYS TOURNAMENT: The Eagles Golf Course, Tampa, Tuesday, 10 a.m.

OUTLOOK: Oldsmar, the lone county boys team in this district, will have a tough time competing with Tampa Prep and Berkeley Prep.

GIRLS TOURNAMENT: The Eagles Golf Course, Tampa, Tuesday, 10 a.m.

OUTLOOK: See the comment for the boys.

CLASS A, DISTRICT 15

TEAMS: Admiral Farragut, Calvary Chr., Canterbury, Clearwater Central Catholic, Indian Rocks Chr., Keswick Chr., Lakeside Chr., Northside Chr., Pinellas Chr. Homeschool, St. Petersburg Catholic, Shorecrest.

BOYS TOURNAMENT: Seminole Lakes Country Club, Monday, noon.

OUTLOOK: Shorecrest won the Bay Conference meet and is one of the favorites. Calvary, led by Mike Baskovich, also should contend. Indian Rocks's Kollin Woodbury, the county's only representative at last year's Class A state tournament, will vie for individual honors.

GIRLS TOURNAMENT: Bellview Biltmore, Clearwater, Tuesday, 10 a.m.

OUTLOOK: The Mustangs have dominated, winning the school's first state title two years ago and finishing fourth last year. Graduation hit the team hard. But Northside still has Morgan Jackson and Ryan Ashburn and home-schooled eighth-grader A.J. Newell.
