ROBERTo A. TORRES has been named an auditor at Pender Newkirk & Company LLP, Tampa. Torres was an auditor at Rachlin, Cohen & Holtz, West Palm Beach.

ROBERT FALLER has been named vice president at FKQ Advertising, Clearwater. In addition to his new responsibilities, Faller will continue to serve as president of Site Dynamics, FKQ's internet marketing and Web site development division.

THOM HART has been named art director at Paradise Advertising & Marketing, St. Petersburg. Hart was assistant creative director at HLA Group, Tampa.

LISA BRACHNA has been named director of business development at Engineering Matrix Inc., St. Petersburg. Brachna was manager of construction for the Pinellas County School Board.

MICHAEL W. CREED is the recipient of the Leonardo da Vinci Award by the Professional Services Management Association. The Award recognizes individuals who have achieved notable levels of excellence in the architectural and engineering profession and have contributed to the firm's success through management achievements. Creed is president and chief executive officer of McKim & Creed PA, Clearwater.

MICHAEL ENGLISH has been promoted to vice president and corporate business unit leader for community and regional planning at WilsonMiller, Tampa. English was Tampa Regional manager for this business unit.

MARK D. OURAL has been named a senior project manager at HDR, Tampa. Oural was chief engineer for the City of Tampa Water Department.

MARY KILLIAN has been named a producer at Vista Insurance Alliance, St. Petersburg. Killian will be responsible for the further development of personal lines and commercial client base. Killian was owner of Killian Insurance, Clearwater.

HOMER DUVALL is the recipient of an award for Exemplary Community Service from the Pinellas County Head Start program for his work with students at McCabe Head Start, St. Petersburg. Duvall is a partner and serves as real estate practice group leader for the Tampa office of Holland & Knight.

RAYMOND T. ELLIGETT JR. is the recipient of the James C. Adkins Award, given by the Florida Bar Appellate Practice Section. The award recognizes significant contributions to the field of appellate practice in Florida. Elligett is shareholder and concentrates in personal injury and appellate practice at the law firm of Schropp, Buell & Elligett, Tampa.

CHERYL PRIEST has been named to the Tampa Bay Business Journal's "30 Under 30" list for 2006. Priest is associate and concentrates in the areas of complex commercial and securities litigation at the law firm of Holland & Knight, Tampa.

CAROLYN HOUSE STEWART is the recipient of the Florida Commission on Status of Women Achievement Award. The award recognizes outstanding contributions and service. Stewart is shareholder and concentrates in the areas of labor and employment law, personal injury, eminent domain, insurance defense, commercial litigation and products liability at the law firm of Macfarlane Ferguson & McMullen, Tampa.

CHRISTOPHER K. VOGEL has been named a shareholder at the law firm of Bricklemyer Smolker & Bolves PA, Tampa. Volgel focuses on eminent domain litigation for both private and public sectors, and was senior attorney for the Florida Department of Transportation.
