A new look for Floridian
By MIKE WILSON
Published October 10, 2006
Some of your favorite Floridian features will get new homes when the St. Petersburg Times debuts its new look on Monday. The idea is to make it easier to find what you're looking for. No more hunting around! Here's a roundup: - The crossword puzzle will move to the inside back page. - Dear Abby and the horoscope will move there, too. - The TV schedule will move to Page 2E. - Movie times will also appear on Page 2E. Always. - The Poetry column will move from Monday to Sunday and will appear on Page 2E. - My Pet World and Sew Simple will move from Monday to Thursday and will appear on Page 2E. - The comic strip F Minus will be dropped from the daily paper but will still run Sundays and will be on the Web every day at www.tampabay.com/comics. - Garfield will move to the black-and-white comics page. - Astronomy, which appeared monthly on Saturday, will now appear the last Monday of the month, always on Page 2E. - Antiques Update and Reader Exchange will move from Floridian to the Saturday Homes section.
