PINELLAS COUNTY ATHLETIC CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP
WHO: Clearwater (16-0) vs. Lakewood (14-3) volleyball
WHEN: Tonight at 7
WHERE: Clearwater's Jack L. Wilson Gymnasium
THE SKINNY: North County champion Clearwater has yet to lose a match and is coming off an impressive two-week stretch that included wins against East Lake, Palm Harbor U. and Countryside. The Tornadoes will be looking for their fifth consecutive PCAC title and 21st overall. South County representative Lakewood returns to the title match for the second straight season, this time under first-year coach Sean O'Flannery. Clearwater has swept Lakewood in both meeting this season.
THE EAST LAKE SHOWDOWN
WHO AND WHEN: East Lake vs. Largo and Northeast vs. Seminole at 5 p.m., followed by Countryside vs. Palm Harbor and East Lake vs. Tarpon Springs at 6:30 p.m. today.
WHERE: East Lake High
THE SKINNY: With no matches originally scheduled this week, Eagles coach Terry Small put together this event to give the teams a tuneup before district tournaments begin Oct. 17.

INJURY REPORT
* Lakewood quarterback Corey Henderson, above, sprained ankle will play Friday against Osceola, but will split time with senior Kevin Hartzog, who led the Spartans on the winning 80-yard drive last Friday against St. Petersburg.
* Countryside offensive linemen Andrew Cordello and Matt Brown are both out for the season with torn ACLs. Right tackle James McGarrity (back) and right guard Adam Grasinger (high ankle sprain), however, likely will play against Dunedin on Friday.
* Dunedin sophomore tailback Daris Bellamy, below, the team's leading rusher, sprained his right knee in Thursday's win over Gibbs. An MRI on Monday revealed no tear, but Bellamy said he is unsure if he'll play in Friday's showdown with Countryside.
