Dunnellon throws a street party on Saturday with food vendors and live music.

Jazz Up Dunnellon invites people to stroll the historic downtown's tree-lined main street, sample Cajun and Creole food and enjoy a variety of jazz styles. Festival hours are 5 to 10 p.m.

Entertainers scheduled to perform are: Joe Michel Quintet with Valerie Levy, Nino Castenada, Rick Dahlinger Trio, Gimmicks, Calaco, Liz Pennock & Dr. Blues, Dunnellon Male Chorus, Saxaltation, Keith Caton and the Accelerators, Paul Luciano Combo, Moon Dancer, Donald J & Co, Jimmy Sparks and the Real Deal, Bill Rea Trio, Paul Marker & Jazz Combo, Twins, and Al Jazzman King.

There will be street vendors offering their take on Cajun cuisine. There are also several restaurants in the area.

Other activities include carriage rides, a classic car show and river cruises. Park at Dunnellon Middle School, off Cedar Street, and hop aboard a free shuttle to get to the Jazz Up site.
