Got a minute? Jake Noland

By BRIAN SUMERS
Published October 13, 2006

You say you like to hit people. Have you gotten to really pop someone this season?

Not this year. Nothing yet. I'm still waiting for it. I need a receiver to go into a post (pattern) right in my zone.

In the Hernando game two weeks ago, a player accidentally stepped on your face. What happened?

He stepped on my face and my nose bled. I was trying to wipe it off. I wanted to play. I tried to get him in the next series.

You say you don't have any pre-game favorite meals, but what is your favorite food?

Chicken wings with blue cheese. Because it's meat.

Speaking of meat, you like hunting deer. Ever kill anything?

I've been numerous times, but no. I just enjoy going and anticipating it even if I don't get one.
