Coming next Friday

When you pick up your St. Petersburg Times on Monday, you will notice a new look.

It is part of a fresher, more vibrant approach designed to help you find the news you need and the award-winning writing and photography that you enjoy.

You'll see more color on our pages, better organization and more signs directing you to our Web site, www.tampabay.com, and other sites for additional information.

The local news you expect from us, covering neighborhoods from Keystone to Cory Lake Isles, is not changing; we're just making our news sections more attractive and easier to use.

We're also adding new features in the St. Petersburg Times that we think you'll like. These include a Sunday section featuring news of travel, the arts and books, called Latitudes; and a section called Working, to help you find a job or get ahead in the one you have.

These changes will carry over into North of Tampa, which will look slightly different beginning Friday, Oct. 20. Do you like our new look? We welcome your comments and suggestions.
