BRANDON - After Bloomingdale jumped to an early seven-point lead, senior running back Mike Brown helped Brandon storm back for a 28-19 victory.
Brown responded to the Bulls' first score with an 80-yard touchdown to tie the game. The play set the tone for the rest of the game.
During his career, Brown had never before won a Homecoming game. This time, he ensured victory with his performance.
He rushed for 184 yards and four touchdowns on 21 carries to give the Eagles their second victory of the season.
"I had great blocking all night, and that really helped me get in the end zone," Brown said.
"After having an up-and-down season, it feels nice to have a game like this.
"I feel that I am the best running back in the county."
Brandon rushed for 291 yards as a team.
Trailing 28-13, Bloomingdale quarterback Shane Geyer found Jonathan Simon for a 21-yard touchdown pass.
But the Bulls missed their second extra point of the night, ruining any chance of a comeback.
