Hillsborough: Tonight's games
A look at high school football around the county tonight.

tonight'S GAMES
All games begin at 7:30
Auburndale (1-5) at Armwood (5-1)
A bloodhound can look pretty hangdog with the droopy ears and all. Don't believe it? Check out these Auburndale Bloodhounds after the Hawks get finished with them.
Knight's pick: Armwood; Purks' pick: Armwood
Gaither (5-1) at Wharton (7-0)
Traffic update in north Tampa: It stinks. Though it is much worse around Wharton. If you're driving from Gaither to Wharton, leave two hours before kickoff, otherwise, get ready for a whole lot of bumper to bumper. And the radio, by the way, isn't carrying the game. Either way, try to get there because this is the game of the night.
Knight: Wharton; Purks: Wharton
Palmetto (5-2) at Robinson (3-3)
Key, key, key Class 3A, District 11 game for the Knights. A Robinson victory makes it, and Palmetto, 1-1 in district play. A Knights loss could pretty much sink 'em.
Knight: Robinson; Purks: Robinson
Mulberry (2-4) at Tampa Catholic (6-1)
Good thing for Tampa Catholic this isn't at Mulberry because Mulberry has the biggest mosquitoes in the world. Perhaps it is the phosphate pits around the school that make the mosquitoes grow five times the normal size of, say, your mosquitoes at Tampa Catholic.
Knight: TC; Purks: TC
Berkeley Prep (0-5) at Sarasota Cardinal Mooney (7-0)
This year the Bucs have the toughest schedule in the history of mankind. Napoleon didn't have this tough of a schedule. Berkeley Prep's opponents so far have a combined record of 31-5. The combined record of Napoleon's opponents wasn't nearly that good. Sarasota Cardinal Mooney is ranked No. 3 in the state.
Knight: Cardinal Mooney; Purks: Cardinal Mooney
Jesuit (4-3) at Sarasota Booker (4-1)
Traffic update south of the Sunshine Skyway bridge: Not sure, but it probably stinks. What is assured is that Booker does not stink. Booker is looking, and possibly smelling, pretty darned good.
Knight: Booker; Purks: Booker
Calvary Christian (4-2) vs. Cambridge (2-4) at Jefferson
After getting bashed 46-13 last week at Vero Beach St. Edwards, the Lancers have a chance to bash back this week. Calvary and Cambridge are in the same ballpark.
Knight: Cambridge; Purks: Cambridge
Last week: Knight 13-1; Purks 12-2
