Top two teams and overall individuals qualify for next week's state tournament.

Class 2A, Region 4

At Tarpon Woods Golf Club

When: Tuesday, 9 a.m.

County team qualifiers: Bloomingdale, Plant City, Wharton, Plant, Gaither, Chamberlain.

Local individual qualifiers: Chris Biuso, King; Michael Sanabria, Riverview; Kris Shane, East Bay; Kyle Deasey, Hillsborough; Andrew Nelson, Hillsborough; Ryan Miller, Alonso.

Outlook: After shooting 293 in district play, Bloomingdale is a strong favorite to return to the state tournament, where it finished fourth last season. Individually, King's Chris Biuso, who shot 3-under 68 to win the district tournament at Summerfield Crossings Golf Club appears ready to win again. Bloomingdale's Brad Schneider is also considered a favorite to take medalist honors along with teammate Robby Carl, who won the Class 2A state individual title last season.

Class A, Region 5

At Tarpon Woods Golf Club

When: Monday, 8:30 a.m.

County team qualifiers: Jesuit, Newsome, Tampa Prep.

Local individual qualifiers: Robert Campbell, Berkeley Prep; Tommy Spitale, Tampa Catholic; Charles Silverfield, Berkeley Prep

Outlook: Jesuit, as it does every year, has a strong lineup, which it proved at districts where all five Tigers shot in the 70s at the Eagles Golf Club. Jesuit's Paul Crochet, Dylan Malafronte, John Twomey, Nick Leppert and Jack Compton could shoot similarly well at Tarpon Woods. The top bid for individual honors appears to Tampa Prep's Matt Hebert, who shot 4-under 68 at the district tournament.

Class 2A, Region 4

At Rogers Park Golf Club

When: Monday, 9 a.m.

County team qualifiers: Wharton, Durant, Bloomingdale, Plant, Gaither, Sickles

Local individual qualifiers: Christian Slater, Riverview; Julie Rolfe, East Bay; Heather Soldinger, Riverview; Sara Fisher, Chamberlain

Outlook: Wharton sophomore Shenia Yang, who shot 1-under 70 to win the district tournament at Summerfield Crossings Golf Club, is the favorite among county competitors to take individual title honors. Yang's team also appears to have a shot to reach state after shooting 314 at districts. Chamberlain's Sara Fisher, who shot 76 to win individual district honors, is also one to watch.

Class A, Region 5

At Tarpon Woods Golf Club

When: Monday, 1 p.m.

County team qualifiers: Tampa Prep, Newsome, Berkeley Prep

Local individual qualifiers: Mary Milewski, Academy of the Holy Names; Elizabeth Ciaravino, Academy of the Holy Names; Andrea Carollo, Tampa Catholic.

Outlook: Tampa Prep has two of the best golfers in the county in Christina Gray and Kelsey Gibson, who both shot 77 at districts. Newsome's Jenna Taylor and Berkeley Prep's Kim and Kyleen Carpenter could also make strong runs for overall individual honors. The region doesn't appear too strong, which gives Tampa Prep the best shot at reaching the state tournament.
