Let us know what you think about new Look

By JIM ROSS
Published October 16, 2006

Today is an exciting day for the St. Petersburg Times.

The newspaper has a new, vibrant look. The page format and typography are different. The design is bolder.

The goal, as executive editor Neil Brown wrote in his recent column, is "to better showcase our award-winning journalism while making the paper easier to use and more fun to read."

Some of you might want to share your opinion about the new look. Our staff would love to hear from you, and I promise to share what you say with my bosses.

Please don't hesitate. This is your newspaper. Tell us what you think.

Today only, you can call a special hotline at our Inverness office: 860-7314.

If you wish to contact me directly, either today or later, there are a few different ways.

By phone: 860-7302 or 1-800-333-7505, ext. 7302. (You might have to leave a voice mail message.)

By e-mail: jross@sptimes.com

By regular mail: Jim Ross, Citrus Editor, 301 W Main St., Inverness FL 34450

I promise to make every effort to call you back or answer your mail.
