A look at how some of the area's products are performing at the next level. Andrew Ortiz, Football, Union College: The freshman out of Springstead has played in two games and tallied three tackles. Michael King, Football, Union College: Though the Springstead grad has yet to record an offensive touch, he has five kick returns for 86 yards this season. Andy Leavine, Football, Florida International The former Central star continues to start at left tackle (he wasn't involved in the melee that resulted in 16 FIU suspensions). Seth Metz, Football, Northern State The former Springstead star has four tackles in six games played this season. Steve Cassell, Football, Eastern Kentucky The former Hernando star has six tackles in seven games played for the Colonels. Jose Yearwood, Football, Brown University The junior out of Springstead is fourth on the team with 31 tackles. In a 17-3 loss to Princeton on Saturday, he had his first forced fumble of the season.
