CW gives 'Runaway' the boot

The CW drama Runaway never took off. The series starring Donnie Wahlberg has been canceled, and its 9 p.m. Sunday slot will be filled by repeat episodes of America's Next Top Model, the network said. Runaway, about a married lawyer falsely accused of murder and forced into hiding with his wife and children, had the dubious honor of ranking as the least-watched series on the five major broadcast networks in the new season. Runaway and the football comedy The Game were the first new programs for the fledgling CW, a hybrid of the WB and UPN. The rest of CW's schedule is made of shows from the defunct networks. - NBC will try to give its struggling drama Friday Night Lights an extra boost. On Oct. 30, a Monday, NBC will air an original Lights episode at 10 p.m., following Heroes, the network's most successful new show. The episode will then repeat in the show's normal 8 p.m. Tuesday spot on Oct. 31. Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, which usually airs at 10 p.m. Monday, will get a week off. - NBC has discarded its plan to keep the 10 p.m. Thursday time slot rerun-free all the season. ER's return to the top of the ratings in that hour prompted the network to scrap a planned 13-week midseason hiatus for the show, which may mean a few repeats.

I loved the show Runaway but like the other viewer I did not know the day was changed they should give it another run.

i was sadden to hear that runaway was canceled and was lost because you switched the days with out notice which is probably why the ratings dropped

i love the show runaway and was very upset to hear that it was canceled that was the best show on sundays and now i have to find some thing else to do to full that empty hour in my life that i know blame on you

runaway was a hit tv show in new england. i was hightly disapointed thats the show was canceled. you should give the show another run thanks for your time

I liked the show and i was planning on watching it every week but i miss it wonce and they cancel the show!!!!!!!!
