Location: 1228 E Seventh Ave. in Ybor City

Developer: Chancey Design Partnership

Description: The project will house the offices of Chancey Design Partnership, formerly known as Walton H. Chancey & Associates and Sandra B. Chancey Interior Design, in a four-story, 19,000-square-foot building. The first floor will contain parking and a large conference room, the second and third floors will have the architecture offices and the fourth floor will have the interior design offices.

Architects/designers: Chancey Design Partnership

Amenities: Oversized windows and skylights were designed to maximize natural light within the offices, which will be divided into cubicles. The second and third floors will have balconies. A large conference room on the first floor will extend the full length of the building to accommodate the company's staff of 56. All conference rooms will have the latest media built in.

What they're saying: The company has outgrown its space a block away at 14th Street and Eighth Avenue. "We wanted to stay in Ybor. We like the roots. We've been there for 17 years. ... We just think it's a great place to work and grow," said Melissa McCracken of Chancey Design Partnership. At the same time, "we want to tie our companies together, so now we'll go under one name," she said.

Timeline: The company celebrated the groundbreaking last week. Construction is scheduled to begin this month and end in the first quarter of 2008.

Move-in date: Upon completion.
