TAMPA - Police were searching Saturday for the man they say shot Ivon Warren, 18, outside 1318 W. Union St. at midnight Friday.

Witnesses told police that Warren and an unknown man were fighting in front of the residence when the man shot Warren twice, once in the head.

Warren was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital, where he was in critical condition Saturday.

Police believe he is armed with a .380-caliber, semiautomatic pistol.
