It's Italy for TomKat nups

Little Suri's parents are ready to make her a flower girl. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes will marry Nov. 18 in Italy, Cruise's representative, Arnold Robinson, confirmed to the Associated Press on Tuesday. Holmes will wear a dress designed by Giorgio Armani, Robinson also confirmed. Holmes, 27, and Cruise, 44, became engaged in June 2005. Daughter Suri was born April 18.

Mills McCartney suing papers

More nastiness has emerged in the Paul McCartney-Heather Mills McCartney divorce case. Now Mills is suing two British newspapers over "false, damaging and immensely upsetting" stories about the divorce. The law firm Mishcon de Reya named the Daily Mail and London's Evening Standard as the subjects, adding that a suit will also be filed against the Sun, the Associated Press reported. The newspapers' publisher, Associated Newspapers, said the stories "were obtained by proper methods and in accordance with good journalistic practice." Last week, the Daily Mail splashed its front page with what appeared to be legal papers Mills McCartney's lawyers drafted in response to the former Beatle's divorce petition, accusing him of drug use, drunkenness and mental and physical abuse, including an assault with a broken wine glass. Mills McCartney's lawyers said British media claims that McCartney had offered her a $56-million settlement are false and "the truth is that no settlement offer, in any amount, has been made." They also issued a copy of a letter, apparently from the Mail on Sunday, offering Heather's sister Fiona a "substantial sum" for information about the divorce. Associated Newspapers said the Mail on Sunday had been "led to believe that Fiona Mills had important information about this case and a perfectly proper and courteous approach was made to her."

Official testosterone zone

He's not on those Man Law commercials for Miller Lite, but George Clooney is the No. 1 man's man, according to a list compiled by AskMen.com. The Oscar winner tops the Web site's list of what it calls the 49 best representatives of the male gender, the AP reported. Rap mogul Jay-Z, adventurer-entrepreneur Richard Branson, cyclist Lance Armstrong and fashion designer Tom Ford make up the rest of the top five, in order. The list was culled from nominations submitted by the online magazine's readers, who were asked to name the top "ambassadors of male-kind."

Do not adjust your set

If you get home from a raucous round of trick-or-treating Tuesday and find something amiss with Conan O'Brien's Late Night, don't blame it on the candy consumption. His Halloween episode will be in "skelevision," the AP reported. The show will be a painstakingly reconstructed rerun of a show from May, with all featured performers appearing as skeleton puppets. The episode featured Larry King, House co-star Omar Epps and pole dancing workout instructor Sheila Kelley.
