Is your cat or dog a star? Stop Pet Overpopulation Together, or SPOT, is holding a pet photo contest. Your pet could win a page in SPOT's 2007 calendar or be featured on TV, posters, newspaper ads, and SPOT's Web site. More than $1,800 in prizes will be awarded. The deadline to enter is Nov. 15. The series will showcase gardens throughout the country with photos and historical notes. Each program will focus on a specific garden, beginning with the centennial celebration of Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pa. The 1,000-acre garden is known for its water gardens and fountain displays.
