Van strikes, kills pedestrian on Nebraska Avenue

TAMPA - A pedestrian died Thursday night after being struck by a van.

The Florida Highway Patrol said Christine M. Miller, 35, of 4302 Woodlark Road, was driving south on Nebraska Avenue when her vehicle hit a pedestrian just before 7:30 p.m. near Clear Lane.

The Highway Patrol was investigating the accident.

The identity of the pedestrian, who died at the scene, was not immediately known.
