TALLAHASSEE - Quarterback Xavier Lee isn't trying to make a fashion statement or one-up Michael Jackson. But in case you didn't notice, he has worn gloves on both hands in his two starts, at Maryland and last week against Virginia. That's something he had never done before. Is Isotoner looking for a pitchman a la Dan Marino back in the day? Is he superstitious? What gives? "When it's cool," Lee explained, "my hands get really dry and it (the ball) slips out of my hand a lot. ... If it's hot, I'm taking them off." The weather forecast for Saturday (8 p.m. vs. Wake Forest): 77 for a high, 46 for a low. That might mean it's a hand-in-glove fit.
