Free seems to be the theme of this week's Senior-friendly Extravaganza at the Trop. More than 260 senior-friendly exhibitors will share information on lifestyle, health, travel and more during two days of free, fun and helpful information. Performer Pat Boone tops the bill with a special appearance on Thursday. Plus enjoy jazz and big band performers, Bright Stars Senior Talent Show winners, "Mr. Live to Dance" Bill Castner, Russell Cortese as Elvis, Ms. Senior Florida 2006, magic and balloon art, The Charmonizers Barbershop Quartet and Windsong Sweet Adelines. Activities include arts and crafts, free bingo, restaurant and product samplings and prizes and giveaways. Free health screenings and free flu shots also will be available with Medicare part B. A Senior Fun Walk kicks off the event at 9 a.m. Thursday with a warmup by Ron Porterfield of the Devil Rays coaching staff. Register at 8:30 a.m. the day of the walk.

Pat Boone takes me back to some good times, and then to have Mr. Live to Dance Bill Castner perform is even a better
joy. I have seen him before and he really puts on a great show. Love to see him.
