RPI SET: Pete Dohan and Tom Daugherty, both of Tampa, will represent the area next month. Roger Kossert of Brandon and Ed Oakes of Winter Park also made the list from the state.

PBA: The Tour returns to Stardust Bowl I in Hammond, Ind., for the second straight season for the Lake County Indiana Classic. Pete Weber is the defending champion.

Showing at age 44 he hasn't lost a step, the Hall of Famer captured his 33rd career title last week, winning the Etonic Championship in Cheektowaga, N.Y. Weber met up with defending champion Doug Kent (Newark, N.Y.), the local favorite who was looking for his second title in three weeks after winning the USBC Masters. Weber struck in seven of the first eight frames to blow past Kent on his way to his first title of the season, 247-196.

The win made him the all-time leader in PBA titles, which includes PBA Tour, PBA Regional and PBA Senior Tour titles. Though Walter Ray Williams Jr. holds the record with 42 PBA titles, Weber has 36 regional titles compared to Williams' 26. The live ESPN Indiana Classic finals are today at 1 p.m.
