Location: Entrance is on S Gornto Lake Road just north of Bloomingdale Avenue, Riverview.

Developer: Pulte Homes

Description: 206 townhouses in 29 two-story buildings. Square footages will range from 1,580 to 1,715. Each unit will have three bedrooms and 21/2 bathrooms.

Architect: Designed in-house by Pulte Homes architects.

Amenities: Community pool with cabana; gated entry; one- or two-car garages.

What they're saying: "Ventura Bay is a follow-up community to our very successful community called Valhalla, right around the corner from this new location," said Pulte marketing manager Rayna Perillo. "We found that due to the rising cost of homeowners insurance in single-family homes, townhomes are very appealing to buyers. With a homeowners association, the insurance on the structure is spread among all owners, not made to be a burden on any one particular household."

Timeline: Land development began in October. Completion of construction hasn't been determined, but Perillo said presales should begin in February.

Move-in date: Third quarter 2007.

For information: Call toll-free, 1-866-289-7858, or visit www.pulte.com.
