Tampa's Web site gets accolades Tampa has one of the best local government Web sites in the country, according to a Washington, D.C., think tank. A new study by the National Policy Research Council ranked every U.S. state and local government Web site - more than 11,000 of them. It said the best sites did a good job presenting information and providing services across several broad categories. It said the best Web sites of counties and cities with populations over 250,000 are in Fresno, Calif., Montgomery County, Md., New Orleans - and Tampa. Suspect hauled in Trappers pull in an alligator from Lake Parker in Lakeland on Wednesday. It is suspected in a predawn attack that left a man in critical condition.
