Temperature expected to dip early next week

Feels more like August than December, doesn't it? The high temperature Thursday reached 86 at Tampa International Airport, just one degree shy of the record for Nov. 30. Near-record temperatures were reported at several West Florida locales. But more seasonal weather is on the way. A cool front this weekend could drop high temperatures into the upper 60s early next week. Get your fill of figgy pudding Victorian carolers refused to leave until they got a figgy pudding. We'll see what happens Saturday, when the Great Figgy Pudding Street Corner Caroling Competition takes place at 4 p.m. in St. Petersburg's South Straub Park. So, what the heck is figgy pudding? A cake-like concoction containing dates, raisins, apples, spices and, of course, figs. But that was way back when. These days we just like the name of the thing. Though voters booted him - he made it to the top five - Huff has released two CDs. The first, My Christmas EP!, debuted in 2004.
