Debra Curry,  46, project coordinator, St. Petersburg

What is your biggest money concern?

Taxes and insurance.

What is your best investment?

I guess the mutual funds have done pretty good for me - Smith Barney.

What have you learned that you think all investors should know?

Stick to something. Have patience.

What is your worst investment?

I'm not real sure - none yet.

What do you find the most difficult about investing?

There are so many people out there who have enticing offers, so it's kind of hard sometimes to decide who to go with.

How would you describe your approach to investing?

Conservative, and I do my research.

Do you think now is a good time to invest?

Yes. When you think about how the market is, I would say now is as good a time as any.

How are you invested?

I did heavy on mutual funds. I couldn't say a percentage.

How did you get started in investing?

I started with my 401(k) in the 1980s and branched out from there.

What is your goal for your investing?

My specific goal is not to lose more than I gain in a year.

Where do you get your investment tips?

I go on the Internet a lot. I do get newsletters from my mutual funds. Money magazine I pick up every now and then.
