Army Pvt. Ryan E. Jensen has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, S.C.

During nine weeks of training, Jensen studied the Army mission, history and core values and physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare, armed and unarmed combat, first aid, and rifle marksmanship, in which he qualified as an expert marksman.

Jensen is the son of Lon and Catherine Jensen of Palm Harbor and is a 2005 graduate of Palm Harbor University High School.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Michael E. Boehm Jr. has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.

During six weeks of training, Boehm studied the Air Force mission, organization and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches; and received physical training, rifle marksmanship training, field training exercises and special training in human relations.

In addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

He is the son of Cindy Boehm of Clearwater and is a 2006 graduate of Clearwater Central Catholic High School.

Army Reserve Pvt. Matthew T. Pomianowski has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, S.C.

During nine weeks of training, Pomianowski studied the Army mission and core values and physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare, bayonet training, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, basic first aid, and field training exercises.

He is the son of Fotene Pomianowski of Clearwater and is a 2006 graduate of the Clearwater Adult Education Center.
