What items can a person bring back from a trip to Mexico?

U.S. citizens who travel to Mexico for 48 hours or longer may bring back as much as $800 in merchandise, but not more than 200 cigarettes, 100 cigars not Cuban and 1 liter of an alcoholic beverage without having to pay duty. See
