Here's your chance to vent on Citizens

A meeting on Dec. 19 will give homeowners a chance to sound off about Citizens Property Insurance's ever-rising rates.

Published December 14, 2006

Take this, Citizens Against Citizens: The people who run Citizens Property Insurance say complaints are down dramatically from last year, and what policyholders are most upset about is the size of their premiums. But for the apparently few who want to rant about the insurer of last resort's customer service and speak to a real, live person, this is your big chance.

The state will host a Citizens For A Better Citizens meeting from 5-7 p.m. Dec. 19 at the St. Petersburg College Epicenter Collaborative Lab, 13805 58th St. N, Largo. Suggestions can also be sent to www.citizensforabetter
