The Path homeless shelter will be feeding many men, women and children during the holiday season. To volunteer your help or to provide food or cash donations, call 527-6500. Four Tickets to Christmas will be presented at 7 p.m. today by First United Methodist Church of Inverness. The family musical combines a variety of music and reminds viewers of the new beginnings brought into their lives each year as they celebrate Christ's birth. Set at Christmas time in the early 1900s, the drama features the Singing Richmonds and tells the story of what happens when the family goes home to their family farm. There they discover new relationships and heal old ones. The church is at 3896 S Pleasant Grove Road. Admission is free and nursery services are available. Call 726-2522. Missionaries to Bulembu Carl and Megan Vonderhaar will speak at 8:30 and 11 a.m. Sunday at Calvary Christian Center, 2728 Harley St., Inverness; at 10 a.m. Dec. 31 First Baptist of Citrus Springs, 974 W G Martinelli Blvd., Citrus Springs; and at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 7 at New Beginnings Fellowship, 2577 N Florida Ave., Hernando. Church Without Walls of Inverness will have a Christmas Food Giveaway from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday behind the Party Store at 2846 N Carl G Rose Highway, by the car wash in Hernando. There will be hams, turkeys and chickens available while supplies last. First Assembly of God, 4201 S Pleasant Grove Road, Inverness will host Grammy award winner the Rev. Larry Ford in concert at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 31. The concert will be a mixture of Christmas favorites, patriotic songs in honor of our troops and other gospel music. Ford travels across the United States and overseas and is often seen on the Gaither Homecoming Hour. Call 726-1107. St. Scholastica Catholic Church, 4301 W Homosassa Trail, Lecanto, will host an advent concert featuring Julie and Kurt Carrick at 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free; an offering will be taken. Call 746-9422. Grand Ole Opry star George Hamilton IV will perform a free Country Christmas Concert at Spring Hill Bible Church in Brooksville at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Guests will gather in the sanctuary to sing Christmas carols before touring a live re-enactment of the life of Jesus, from the prophecy in the Old Testament through the Resurrection, culminating with a choral presentation of a musical called The Rose.
