Aripeka

Hudson

Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church, 12321 Canton Ave., offers a contemporary music and majesty service at 6 tonight and worship services at 8:30 and 11 a.m. Sunday. During the 11 a.m. service the Sunday school will perform its Christmas program. Advent worship services are scheduled for 4 and 7 p.m. Wednesday. Call (727) 863-6446.

Holiday

Holiday United Church of Christ, 4826 Bartelt Road, invites the public to its Christmas cantata, Touched by a Child, Touched by a King, at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. An Advent Bible study is offered each Sunday during Advent at 9 a.m. with Children's Sunday school at 10:30 a.m. Coffee fellowship is at 10 a.m. Call (727) 937-1520.

Land O'Lakes

Christian Social Services, 5514 Land O'Lakes Blvd., needs help for Christmas. For $20 the organization can provide a basket filled with food, from a ham to an apple pie, for those in need. Lutz

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 20735 Leonard Road, offers a children's Christmas program, Promise Remembered, Covenant Kept, at 9:15 a.m. Sunday. On Christmas Eve there will be one morning service at 9 a.m. Vicar Ross Engel and the Rev. Gilbert Kuehn will present a program, The Perfect Tree. Matt Ellrod will provide the music. Four services will be offered on Christmas Eve. At 5 p.m. a family service for children will include all the children in a variety of activities and at 7 and 9 p.m. the choir, under Ellrod's direction, will present a cantata, We Have Seen the Light. At 11 p.m. there will be a candlelight worship service with Kuehn speaking on the theme "Mary, Did You Know?" On Christmas Day, festival Christmas worship will feature a medley of Christmas songs, and Vicar Engel will speak on the theme: Christmas Is All in the Heart. Call (813) 949-7173.

New Port Richey

Hope United Methodist Church, 2200 Little Road, offers A Christmas Tale at 9 and 11 a.m. and at 3 and 5 p.m. Christmas Eve. Child care for infants through pre-K is available. A candlelight service is also scheduled for 11 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Call (727) 372-4689.

Faith Lutheran Church, 5443 Sunset Road, prepares for the celebration of Christmas with a weekend of music and drama. Faith Factor, the senior choir and the Preparing for Prime Time Players, presents The Light Will Overcome at 5 tonight. The youth group of the church offers the light comedy: Do You Deliver at the 8 a.m. service on Sunday and the Sunday School offers its annual program: Star of Love at the 11 a.m. service. Trinity Baptist Church, 5725 Rowan Road, offers a Christmas cantata at 7 tonight. Refreshments will be served after the presentation in the fellowship hall. The cantata will be offered again at 10:45 a.m. Sunday. Call (727) 842-2336.

Port Richey

King of Kings Lutheran Church, 10337 U.S. 19, announces a change in services for the holidays. Dec. 24, Sunday school at 9 a.m., worship at 10 a.m. and Christmas Eve candlelight service at 7 p.m. No services on Christmas Day. On Dec. 31 regular services will resume at both 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Call (727) 868-5744.

Congregation Beth Tefillah, which meets at the Jewish Community Center of West Pasco, 9841 Scenic Drive, offers Shabbat services at 8 p.m. each Friday in the Rose Siegal Berkowitz Sanctuary at the center. Services are also at 9:30 a.m. Saturdays. Call (727) 347-3814.

Tarpon Springs

Universalist Unitarian Church, 230 Grand Blvd., will exhibit Chinese brush paintings by Elaine Schilp, artist and teacher, through December. The church is open for viewings from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday through Dec. 29. Call (727) 819-2276.

Congregation B'nai Emmunah, a Reform Jewish Synagogue, 3374 Keystone Road, offers Shabbat evening services at 8 p.m. every Friday. A member-hosted Oneg follows each service. Lunch and Learn is scheduled at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the home of Shaine and Bruce Harvester. Hanna's Suitcase, a novel by Karen Levine, will be discussed. Copies of the book are for sale at Barnes & Noble in Carrollwood.
