Government Federal, state and county offices: Closed Monday. City offices: Kenneth City and South Pasadena offices will close at noon Friday and will be closed Monday. Indian Shores offices will be closed Friday and Monday. Belleair Beach, Indian Rocks Beach and Pinellas Park offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday. All other city offices will be closed Monday. Post offices: Closed Monday. Transportation PSTA and DART: Holiday schedule Monday. Public services Banks: Closed Monday. Courts: Not in session Monday. Schools: Closed Friday-Jan. 5. Libraries: All St. Petersburg library branches will be closed Saturday-Monday. Call West Community Library at St. Petersburg College for holiday hours through Jan. 5. Gulf Beaches, Indian Rocks Beach and Pinellas Park libraries will be closed Sunday-Tuesday. All other libraries will be closed Sunday and Monday. Garbage pickup: In Gulfport, Indian Rocks Beach, Madeira Beach, St. Petersburg and Treasure Island, Monday pickup will be on Tuesday, and Tuesday pickup will be on Wednesday. In South Pasadena, Monday pickup will be on Tuesday. In all other cities, Monday pickup will be on the next regular pickup day. Residents who contract independently with Waste Services of Florida (572-6800), Waste Management (572-8779) or another collection company should call the company for holiday schedule information. Other closings: Facilities closed Monday include the Coliseum, Mahaffey Theater, Enoch Davis Center, Boyd Hill Nature Park, Business Assistance Center, Municipal Services Center, St. Petersburg Police Community Resource Centers, City Utility Payment Center, Parking Citation Payment Office, Sanitation Department Brush Sites, Municipal Marina, Port of St. Petersburg business offices, Albert Whitted Airport business office, recreation and adult centers, the Sunshine Center, North Shore Pool and Sunken Gardens. For water or sewer emergencies, call the Water Resources Department, 893-7261. For police, fire or medical emergencies, dial 911.
